"The Longer You Wait" is one of the most widely-known rare songs. This song should have been released as a track on his 2nd Arista album "Twisted Heart" in 1982, which was never released due to creative differences between the record company. It got shelved in long battles with the label and thus Gino could not record for 4 years before coming back with 1985 album "Black Cars".

However, A single from this LP was released as a promo.....available only for very short time. This is it, "The Longer You Wait" b/w "Bandito" (Arista AS0664). The song is very pop one produced, arranged and written by Gino with his brothers, Joe and Ross.

Now, the rare song is available as a bonus track of "Gino Vannelli Ultimate Collection", the limited edition Dutch exclusive 32-bit remastered 3 CD Box, which suddenly appeared in front of us in the end of December 2003. Besides "The Longer You Wait", the box also includes rare live material and remixes:- "Black Cars" (Dance Mix), "Hurts To Be In Love" (Live), "Where Am I Going" (Live), "People Gotta Move" (Live). Needless to say, All Gino hits such as "Brother To Brother", "Living Inside Myself", "I Just Wanna Stop" are on the discs. Now is the time to re-discover Gino Vannelli!

CBS Daytime | The Bold and the Beautiful

Jack Wagner has just borught a new single "Going Back Again" (co-written by Jeff Pescetto with Jack) for the first time in eleven years, which was featured on the January 23 episode of CBS network's daytime soap opera "The Bold & the Beautiful". It will also be used in the CBS Daytime on-air promo campaign.

According to the recent interview, Jack Wagner will also release his solo album in the spring, into which Jack is currently almost halfway. Jack also said that the album will include a song entitled "Bring it On" which is got kind of an acoustic, funky little groove. Jack describes that the new album will be as finding his musical roots.

On January 22, 2004, Duo Music Exchange officially announced Robbie Dupree's live performances in March!
Robbie will perform on March 10, 11, 12 and 13 at Duo Music Exhange, Tokyo. The Door open at 18:00 and show starts at 19:30. The advanced ticket will be on sale from February 7 through 2 major ticket services : - Ticket Pia and Lawson Tickets.

Besides this Tim Feehan track, the soundtrack CD includes 10 tracks such as "License To Kill" performed by Gladys Knight, "If You Asked Me To" by Patti LaBelle and 6 orchestrated tracks coducted by Michael Kamen.

Tim Feehan's "Dirty Love" is a hard-edge driven rock tune produced by David White with him.
A year later, Tim Feehan released his 2nd solo album "Full Contact" under the same label, i.e MCA Records, which features Tim's self-performing version of "Heart In Pieces" known for Chicago version.

Bobby Caldwell's Blue Edition - January 2004

According to The Official Bobby Caldwell's website, Bobby continues to work on his new album, currently plans for a release date in late spring/early summer 2004. Bobby already finished several songs including "Perfect Island Night" and "Call Me Up" , which has been performed in his recent shows.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Randy VanWarmer, who recorded the pop hit "Just When I Needed You Most" and then had a successful career as a songwriter, has died. He was 48. VanWarmer died Monday night in Seattle at the University of Washington Medical Center, where he was being treated for leukemia. He had been ill for about a year.
"Just When I Needed You Most" reached No. 4 on Billboard's pop chart in 1979.

Stephen Bishop had to cancel his Japanese gigs at the newly opened club named "Duo Music Exhcnage" due to car accident.

Stephen Bishop sent his message to his fans in Japan as follows (quote from Stephen Bishop's official website "Bishtro"):-

"To my fans in Japan who bought tickets or were going to..to the shows coming up Jan. 20th-24th at the Duo Music Exchange...I am very sorry but I had to cancel my trip due to a car accident from last week which has left me in not the greatest shape for travel or to perform shows...I have postponed the shows until April when I will return...Stephen Bishop"

Hope Stephen will recover his health soonest possible and come to Japan near future...
