It was last August when MTM Music released a young talented Noregian Morten Holm Pettersen's project CD "Open Up" produced by David Johansen under MTM Music. It was almost a year after I got this project CD limited local version. Now, in the late summer of 2004, I got another CD again. Yes, It is Morten Holm Pettersen's brand new CD titled "Tusler Varsomt Forbi", which is again produced by David Johansen.
All the 11 songs are sung in Noregian language but it does not matter at all for me because of the perfect Westcoast production. As of today, this CD is hard to get because of artist's self-release only. It is really worth listening. I can say that this is one of the best Westcoast albums released after 1990.
The album is opened by the beautiful ballad type song "Tusler varsomt forbi" after 42 second's intro. A little funky pop soul tune "Madeleine" follows. This album includes one of the perfect Westcoast tune over the decades titled "Hold ut", which must be "one in 10 years perfect song".
As of today, I have no idea how and where you can get this album unfortunately. I will let you know as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
