Janey Clewer "Perfume"

Janey Clewer has recently finished producing her 4th solo effort "Perfume".

The CD features 11 intoxicating songs plus 2 bonus tracks and the unbelievable musicianship of Vinnie Colaiuta, Randy Waldman, Dave Boruff , George Hawkins, Ian Wallace and the acclaimed gutarist Bruce Gaitsch, her spouse.

This album is more jazzy than her former albums. If you like her pop melodies, "I Concentrate On You" will be the one for you. Supposed tracklisting (not confirmed as yet) except 2 bonus tracks would be:

Marc Jordan "Make Believe Ballroom"

Marc Jordan has just released his brand-new studio recording album " Make Believe Ballroom" for Blue Note/EMI Canada, which is the follow-up to his Blue Note/EMI debut, "This Is How Men Cry" (1999)

In 2002, Marc released his first-ever greatest hits compilation, "Living In Marina Del Rey", which I believe you already have.

Robbie Nevil will be back in 2005

Robbie Nevil will be back as a solo artist with his 4th album "Soul Classics", paying tribute to some of the greatest soul songs ever recorded. It is said that Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now", Bill Withers' masterpiece "Ain't No Sunshine", Staple Singers' well-known tune "I'll Take You There" and Manhattans' smash hit "Shining Star" will be covered by Robbie.

Robbie Nevil is well-known for his breaking onto the mid 80's pop scene with his sensational debut hit "C'est la Vie" in 1986. After his success as a solo artist with 3 albums, he mainly produce and write songs for other artists such as Babyface, Jessica Simpson and/or Destiny's Child recently.

And in the fall of 2004, ViaStar Media Corporation announced today that the Company’s flagship label Viastar Records has signed legendary recording artist Robbie Nevil to a multi-album Exclusive Artist Agreement. It means that we can expect several Robbie Nevil's albums now.

This worth-waiting album release set in first quarter 2005.

RTZ "Lost and Found" release on December 6, 2004

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of RTZ &Lost and Found& + &Delp & Goudreau& 2 cd set for December 6th 2004 !

RTZ (Return To Zero) began as a collaboration between singer Brad Delp and guitarist Barry Goudreau around 1989. Goudreau and Delp were both part of the original BOSTON line up, and after Barry&s departure from Boston the two stayed in close contact with Brad contributing both to Barry Goudreau&s solo album and also to a lesser degree on the ORION THE HUNTER album.

RTZ landed a deal with Giant Records and the first album &Return To Zero& was released in 1991 with excellent results from the press and fans alike. RTZ got released from the contract and later released a record called &Lost& in 1999 made up of songs from various sessions to create a follow up to the debut album.

Lost and Found& is another step of the collaboration from Brad and Barry. The record is made up of never before released tracks that were recorded before the first RTZ CD. These cuts also feature the other original RTZ members: David Stefanelli, Brian Maes and Tim Archibald. The songs were recorded in Barry&s home studio and show the development that lead to the first RTZ release. The tracks were recorded on various formats and although some of the recordings reflect the sounds of that time, it includes great melodies and performances that are a &must have& for Boston fans.&

Tommy Funderburk Solo Album "Anything For You"

Frontiers Records, Italy published their remarkable 2005 release.

Yes, It is Tommy Funderburk's first solo album "Anything For You" including songs written with such AOR luminaries as Michael Thompson, Bruce Gaitsch and Greg Mathieson.
“Anything For You” (FR CD 218) is an absolutely brilliant and classy release destined to please all the fans of Toto, Richard Marx and Journey.

It is well-known that Tommy had done recording session with Greg Mathieson around 1998. Therefore, we might be able to listen to several completed tracks from this session on the upcoming album.

Being ahead of the forthcoming release, "Remember Our Love" written by Tommy and Bruce will be on Frontiers Records' special sampler album "Rock The Bones Vol. II" which will be available on October 18.
