JAY MILES collected rock group experiences with his first band GIRLFRIEND at
the age of 16. Together with his band STEAMTRAIN (released by EPIC), the
28-year-old entered the European charts. In 1994, Jay decided to find his
luck in the United States and re-orientate to the American music market. The
current album represents a collection of wonderful songs, which couldn't be
more empathetic and more emotional - well-rehearsed at the highest level by
musical legends, who Jay Miles calls his friends these days. That's what he
was dreaming of, when he left his homeland to conquer "promised land"

The release date is schedule for April 18th.

Sherwood Ball Meets Grand Illusion

Sherwood Ball, a great singer-songwriter known for his own project "Sherwood Ball N Chain" as well as his contribution to Jay Graydon's mid 90's solo project "Airplay For The Planet" will break his long silence soon.

Sherwood has recently e-mailed to me privately that he is working in a new band from Sweden. The style/genre is Melodic Rock.
They are searching possible band names and have interest from a label for Europe and Japan. The new band will have the main songwriter / producer / bassist, Anders Rydholm, and lead guitarist, Ola af Trampe, from the band "Grand Illusion". Sherwood says, "We have over a CD's worth of amazing tracks which I will be writing the lyrics for over the next few months and hope to have all of the vocals and overdubs finished by end of May."

According to MelodicRock.com, Escape Music, the current label for "Grand Illusion", advised that the album will be released later in 2005. Yes, they are currently "in negotiations" with the new band. Regarding the current situation, Sherwood adds "We are looking to sign with a label that has Japanese licensing with a company that would provide tour support."
