
A compilation album to benefit the victims of the disaster in Japan "The Songs for Japan" CD, is available worldwide now, which can be also downloaded from iTunes Store. The album includes recordings from Lady Gaga, Eminem, Beyonce, Madonna, the Kings of Leon, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, among others. Also featuring on the slate of 37 artists are Bob Dylan, U2, Bruce Springsteen and the late John Lennon; country acts Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum; rock artists like the Foo Fighters, R.E.M. and Bon Jovi; and hitmakers Pink, Bruno Mars and David Guetta. Proceeds from the album will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society. All the artists have waived royalties and proceeds from the recordings.
