No one denies that Little River Band is the one of the best and most successful band coming from the down under. Stylus would be another one but might be a bit under-rated. Their music would be very much sophisticated blue-eyed soul pop music. Their history started mid 70's, released the debut album "Where In The World" in 1975 and "For The Love Of Music" followed. The band was constantly touring Australia and supporting big names like Average White Band and George Benson. The 3rd album "Best Kept Secret" was released in USA under Motown without mentioning that they were blue-eyed guys from the down under, and received favourable reviews in music industry magazines. "Part Of It All" (1979) was to be the follow-up album for the USA but was shelved due to the reshuffle of the management of the label. Stylus reformed for two weeks for performing live in Melbourne late February 2002, and it was a great success and recorded the final two shows for a live CD released in 2003. In 2010, the band has released their brand-new studio recording album "Across Time", responding to the Japanese music market high expectation! Enjoy the first class blue-eyed soul now!
